HARTFORD, Conn.— reSET, the Social Enterprise Trust, today announced that Amy Fry has been elected to its Board of Directors.
Fry has been with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (BI) since 2004 as Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications. She has over twenty-five years of professional experience with an emphasis in organizational transformation and effectiveness, public relations, employee engagement, change management and marketing communications. She also has experience in government affairs, patient advocacy and professional relations.
Additionally, Fry serves on the board of the Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation, and leads BI’s Making More Health global imitative to create social business solutions to improve health for undeserved patients. She has been recognized for her ability to lead change, drive organizational effectiveness, and influence outcomes through relationships and across boundaries.
BI is the world’s largest independently-owned pharmaceutical company. Since 2011, the company has supported reSET’s Social Enterprise Awards with the Boehringer Ingelheim More Health Through Innovation award. This award is given annually to a Connecticut-based social entrepreneur who is building a business that aims to improve the health of individuals and communities.
