reSET’s Measure What Matters masterclass is inspired by the global movement led by B Lab, who developed the B Impact Assessment to identify, measure, and communicate business impact. In MWM, we will use an abbreviated version of the B Corp assessment. For companies that decide to pursue the official B Corp Certification status (different than a legal benefit corporation), you gain a verified guarantee of transparency and accountability to your audience. Whether you get B certified or not, MWM gives you an important framework to build a better business. Taking an assessment can also push you to build stronger strategies and more formal policies in line with your values. Assessing how your mission, vision, and values shows up in your day-to-day operations is good for your team, your community, and those to whom you provide services or products.
Measure What Matters is designed for the business owner who wants to be a leader in prioritizing purpose alongside profit. This course is recommended for small to medium size businesses that have at least 1 paid employee. The curriculum applies to businesses across a variety of sectors, whether you are a manufacturing company, a finance start-up, a collective farm, or so much more.
We are all being called on to create the world we want to live in, as current events have shone a bright light on all the things that are not working. For entrepreneurs, there is a chance to build a strong business foundation that prioritizes people, place, and planet. Businesses of the 21st century are being called on to play an integral role in building an inclusive and sustainable economy that works for everyone, and Measure What Matters can help build a path to impact.
